Let’s look back on the highlights of Kristen and Eric’s lavish wedding.
Before anything, the gentlemen took some creative and silly outdoor shots in green and yellow basketball jerseys. Afterward, they headed inside the gorgeous, newly refurbished train carriage where they prepped up for the wedding. The ladies, on the other hand, also prepared on-site, in the lovely vintage home. Husband-to-be Eric and his groomsmen immediately transitioned from sporty to dashing in their classic black tuxedos, with matching black bowtie and white boutonnière. The bridesmaids exchanged their bright, floral robes for lovely mulberry gowns with lacy upper details. Meanwhile, Kristen’s ensemble was very Breakfast at Tiffany’s – an elegant sleeveless sheath with a mermaid skirt, and her hair tied into a classic low bun.
The event was held in The Estate on the Halifax – a simple but charming place. Their wedding coordinators were Coastal Coordinating, a full-service company in Florida where Kristen used to work for. The coordinating ladies were very sweet, as was their videographer, Asha. Reception looked absolutely regal with its rich purple and gold theme, yet remained sweet with an extensive candy buffet. The floral details added a homey vibe to a very posh wedding.
Here, I’d like to take this time to share some tips and words of encouragement. 🙂
Remember, you can always trust your photographer! As much as possible, we like to select photo spots with the best lighting. As you can see from examples I’ve published, I don’t solely capture photos inside the venues. If you’re interested in holding an outdoor wedding, or prefer shoots with natural lighting, it’s best to consider a dress that doesn’t stain easily as well. More often than not, a few outdoor shots add more depth and creativity to the final outcome. Some items with intricate elements are best captured under natural lighting and rustic backgrounds such as wedding dresses, shoes, and rings. This helps add more attention to detail.
We only want to show the best and most memorable photos of your special day! 🙂
