Couple: Nicole & Stevie
Location: Winter Park, FL
Here’s a handful of highlights from Nicole and Stevie’s unique, outdoor engagement shoot! Most of the shoot was set in the beautiful Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park, Florida. Afterwards, we moved to Rollins College for a change of scenery. The couple’s aesthetic definitely fit right in with the rustic ambience! Their ensemble was simple, not at all flashy, and displayed their personalities rather well. Nicole had on a simple babydoll dress, sleeveless and beige, with intricate details around the neck and upper chest area. Meanwhile, Stevie wore a soft magenta button-up that matched surprisingly well with his green pants.
Nicole and Stevie are high school sweethearts. It’s a rather short, but adorable story! Nicole noticed Stevie when she was only 13 years old, and instantly had a crush. Years later, I can tell they’re still very much in love with each other. It’s hard to find such unwavering love. Stevie looks at Nicole like she holds the stars in her eyes and would do just about anything to make her happy. It’s easy to see why. Nicole is a bright girl, very friendly albeit simple and timid. Despite being on the girly side, she prefers not to wear makeup. However, she’s natural beauty all on her own, so she doesn’t really need it! Husband-to-be Stevie, on the other hand, is a true country gentleman. He is a man’s man and very polite, evident in the way he answers with “Yes, ma’am” and “No, ma’am” during conversation.
One glance at each photo is all you need to tell just how genuine their feelings are for each other. Take a look at their natural smiles, the small kisses and gentle touches, and the blissful sparkle in their eyes. This is the reason why I do what I do. Capturing important memories of couples who look at each other the way they do, especially after years of being together, is such a privilege.
