Bride & Groom: Brittany & Avery
Location: Kraft Azalea & Rollins, Winter Park, FL
Here are a handful of highlights from Brittany and Avery’s engagement session. While I organized their engagement shoot, the two will be married in Chicago in February, so I won’t be able to photograph their wedding. I think the couple was originally from Chicago, and only traveled to Florida for a short visit. They got engaged in Downtown Orlando last summer, when Avery popped the question in Lake Eola Park. They have good taste in locations, though. Kraft Azalea Garden is such a lovely place to hold engagement shoots. Not to mention, Rollins College gave off this simple but vintage ambiance. The two places were a good balance from each other – from rustic to romantic!
The couple kept it simple for the first half of the shoot. Avery looked handsome in a simple white button-up to match black slacks and caramel leather shoes. Meanwhile, Brittany looked beautiful in a sleeveless vivid coral mini dress. The two looked natural among nature. Their bright clothes and personality easily made them the focus among the forestry background. On the other hand, they kept the latter half of the shoot classy. Avery kept it plain and clean: a blazer, the shade of a mix of pine and basil, and gray slacks. Brittany changed into a conservative, wine-colored, floral dress. The main attraction, however, is her stunning engagement ring! A show-stopper, it’s definitely eye-catching – a teardrop diamond framed in gold.
Brittany and Avery were genuinely sweet and pleasant people, very easy to talk to and get along with. Both have an amazing sense of humor, so the entire shoot was fun and lively. Such a gorgeous couple, too. They both had such bright smiles the entire time – absolutely contagious! I found myself grinning back whenever they sent a warm smile my way – Brittany, especially. She gives off such an amiable vibe, which proved to be accurate when I found out she’s actually a 1st grade teacher. I can imagine Brittany must have the patience of a saint! I wish this happy couple all the love in the world!
