Here are some highlights from Callie and Zach’s lovely wedding! At first glance, the couple seemed like very pleasant people, and meeting them proved the sentiment to be completely true! Callie’s job involved caring for animals. It should come with the job, but Callie genuinely adores animals, specifically cats and horses. In fact, she’s an equestrian at heart, and does horse-riding as a hobby. Zach works for a golf club, and is an aspiring golf player himself. Meeting the couple, and capturing each important moment was such a pleasure. Both Callie and Zach’s tandem and separate personalities perfectly matched the vibe of their wedding – sweet, down-to-earth, fun, and, not to mention, unique!
You can tell the camaraderie from preparations alone. Even through hair and makeup, they wore matching robes, almost a counterpart, if you will, to the bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses. Callie wore an off-white, A-line wedding gown with intricate lace details. The simplicity of the dress is amped up by its open back. It definitely screams wedding in the front, party in the back! The bridesmaids looked universally stunning in a distinct shade between mint and fern – very fitting! The main points of their ensemble are the charming pair of shoes tucked underneath the dresses. They looked rather similar to sneakers, complete with shoelaces, if not for the dazzle of silver detail. The groom and best man looked dapper in their navy suits, while the groomsmen pulled off a clean look with minty suspenders.
The wedding – held at the beautiful Lakeside Ranch – had a rustic, outdoor aesthetic. They were lucky enough to know a friend of Callie’s mother who helped coordinate the gorgeous flower arrangements. The ceremony was serene, which really worked with the entire mint and white theme. To add, I think the Irish flair they decided to use is different altogether, but in a very good way! Instead of the traditional champagne toast, they kicked off the reception with Irish whiskey shots. Despite their tranquil ceremony and laidback reception, this couple definitely knows how party.
