Bride & Groom: Jessica & Jermaine
Location: Leu Gardens & Thornton Park
What if fate gave you a second chance? Will you take it? Jessica and Jermaine definitely did! These collection of highlights from their engagement session proved that this couple was meant to be.
Held in Harry P. Leu Gardens and Thornton Park, the couple enjoyed a leisurely stroll as I took their photos. The two kept it casual for the first half of the shoot. The bright color combination made them stand out among the greenery of the garden. Jermaine wore a plaid button-down with blue as the main color point. Meanwhile Jessica wore an emerald blouse accented by a modest set of jewelry pieces, including her engagement ring which looked stunning illuminated by natural light. It’s a classic diamond in a princess cut to match a simple silver band. The latter half of the shoot has them in a matching ensemble – plain jeans, white sneakers, and baseball jerseys which shows their shared interest of the sport. The simplicity made the concept of the shoot seem cozier and much more intimate, which really suits them.
I discovered that Jessica has a daughter from a previous relationship, but Jermaine is ready to take her in and start a family of their own. Jermaine is what I’d call a gentle giant. His warm smile and personality are enough to make up for his rather intimidating height. The story goes that the couple knew each other back in high school, and remained friends over the years. As life goes, the couple lost touch when they went their separate directions, only to fall in love upon meeting the second time around. They match really well together as both are laidback and have a great sense of humor, not to mention aren’t afraid to be a little silly in front of the camera. They took some really adorable shots together!
Who knew they’d find love the second time around?
